FAQs

You’ve got questions. We’ve got answers.

I'm a beginner, can I take this course?

Yes, this course can be taken by beginners. There is a lot of information I wish I had when I was starting out. However, it will help to have some foundation as a musician and understand the basics of playing your instrument, as well as some music theory. To brush up on these skills, check out my INTUITION + THEORY PRIMER and sign up for HOMEWORK for weekly assignments that will help you find inspiration and develop your musical language. This new course, PURPOSE, will help you turn your passion and skills into a career.

What do I need to take this course?

Not much! You'll need a basic set up with:
  • A computer, tablet or phone
  • An ability to take notes (in a notebook or on your device)
  • Commitment, passion and a positive attitude
In an ideal world you'd also have:
  • Access to your instruments of choice (guitar, keyboard, etc.)
  • Access to recording equipment
  • Access to other working musicians

Yes! It's a pre-recorded digital course that is split into multiple modules and lessons. Once you purchase it, it's yours forever to keep. You can watch it at your own pace, jump around the modules, and repeat any sections you may want to revisit.
